To construct this raised garden bed, simply overlap the 2 sheets and fasten with the steel rod supplied to give the garden bed additional strength. All that is required is a drill, 6mm drill bit and a spanner.

Organic Garden Co raised garden beds are designed to make setup simple from the start. The innovative and patented SNAPTiTE assembly system allows the garden bed sheets to slide into the posts and lock securely into place, so there’s no need to reach for a toolbox, drill or packet of screws.

It really is that easy: line up the panels, slide them into position, and the SNAPTiTE lugs do the rest. In around 5 minutes, your garden bed is assembled and ready to place, fill and plant.

Once assembled, choose a level spot in your garden, courtyard, deck or driveway, then build up the bed in layers. Start with a drainage layer using organic matter such as cardboard, leaves, logs or sticks, leaving enough space above for soil and mulch. You can then add a layer of fresh topsoil to help fill the base, followed by around 300mm of quality potting mix to support healthy fruit, herb and vegetable growth.

To finish, water the soil so it settles naturally, then add a layer of mulch to help retain moisture and regulate soil temperature. From there, your garden bed is ready for seeds, seedlings and growing fresh produce at home.

The Organic Garden Co offers home delivery for raised garden beds across most metro and regional areas in Australia.

Home delivery for garden beds is charged per item at a rate of $69 or $99, depending on the product. Orders containing multiple garden beds will incur a delivery fee for each item.

Garden beds are dispatched within up to 15 working days, with delivery taking up to 15 working days after dispatch. Delivery dates cannot be guaranteed, and production or delivery lead times may change.

Customers can authorise the freight company to leave the package at the front of the property. If the driver considers the delivery area unsafe, the order may be redirected to a collection point.
